7 IPS Officers Transferred in Bihar

Highlights
While reshuffling the police department in Bihar, 7 officers of the DIG and SP level of the Indian Police Service (IPS) have been assigned new responsibilities.
The names and new postings of the officers are:
- SP (Wireless) Anil Kumar has now been made the new Traffic SP of Patna. At present, the post of Traffic SP, Patna was vacant and City SP Madhya Ambrish Rahul was given additional charge of Traffic SP.
- 2009 batch officer Navin Chandra Jha has been made the Commandant of Bihar Special Armed Police-9, Jamalpur. He was waiting for posting after being removed from Motihari.
- BSAP-16 Commandant Pushkar Anand has now been given the charge of BSAP-14 Commandant.
- Veena Kumari, has now been made Commandant in BSAP-4 Dumraon. She has also been given additional charge of BSAP-18 located at Dumraon.
- Newly promoted in Indian Police Service and Special Branch ASP Shaishav Yadav has been made the commandant of BSAP-13, Darbhanga.
- Vidya Sagar, posted as ASP in BSAP-10, Patna, has been made SP, Wireless after promotion to IPS.
- Vikas Kumar, a 2008 batch officer of the Indian Police Service and Deputy Inspector General-cum-Deputy General of Police, Home Defense Corps and Fire Services, has been given additional responsibility. He has been given the additional charge of Director-cum-State Fire Officer, Bihar till further orders.
