The Himachal Pradesh government on Tuesday, transferred 8 police officers of which 3 are IPS and 5 are HPS officers. Two separate notifications have been issued in this regard. Accordingly, 2005 batch IPS Sumedha has been posted as IG (Crime).
Abhishek Dullar, an IPS officer of 2006 batch, who was awaiting posting has now been posted as DIG at Dharamshala, the district headquarters of Kangra. Similarly, 2020 batch IPS Shivani Mehla, awaiting posting, will be the SDPO of Rampur. While HPS officer Chandrashekhar posted on this post has been posted as DSP in SDRF Mandi.
According to another notification, the four HPS officers who have been transferred. Among them Parveen Dhiman will be ASP of Third Reserve Battalion Pandoh. Similarly, Sanjeev Kumar-2 will now be the ASP of Una. Jatinder Kumar has been posted as SDPO, Amb and Dr. Basudha Sood has been posted as DSP, 1st Reserve Battalion, Bangarh.
