The Uttar Pradesh government has shifted 8 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the names of the officers and their post are as follows:
- 1998 batch IPS officer Piyush Mordia who is presently Additional Director General (ADG)Joint CP (CP), Law & Order of Lucknow Commissionerate has been transferred and posted as ADG of Lucknow Zone.
- 2005 batch IPS officer Upendra Kumar Agarwal who is presently IG/DIG of Devipatan Range transferred as joint CP: Law & Order of Lucknow Commissionerate.
- 2008 batch IPS officer Amarendra Kumar who is presently DIG-Ayodhya Range transferred as DIG Devipatan Range.
- 2001 batch IPS officer Praveen Kumar who is presently G-Meerut Range transferred as IG Ayodhya Range.
- 2003 batch IPS officer Nachiketa jha who is presently IG. Agra Range transferred as IG Meerut Range.
- 2005 batch IPS officer Deepak Kumar who is presently G/DIG-Aligarh has been transferred as IG, Agra-Range.
- 2008 batch IPS officer Suresh Rao A Kulkarni who is presently Additional C-Kanpur Commissionerate
- transferred as DIG- Aligarh Range.
- 2008 batch IPS officer Amit Verma who is presently DIG, SIT, HQ, Lucknow, has been transferred as Additional CP, Kanpur Commissionerate, Uttar Pradesh.
