2006 batch IPS officer, Rahul Prakash, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for a period of five years.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday 20 June, the competent authority has approved the appointment of Prakash as DIG, CRPF on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
