PK Bhuyan Made IG Law & Order after Assam Govt Issued a Transfer Order of Three IPS Officers

The Assam government has issued transfer and posting orders of three IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows

1. Prasanta Kumar Bhuyan (IPS-SPS:2004) : IG, Law and Order with additional charge of IG, STF and IG, Northern Range, Tezpur.
2. Mainul Islam Mondal (IPS-SPS:2005) : DIG, MPC, Ulubari, Guwahati.
3. Jayant Singh (IPS:2014:AM) : Assam Police Hqrs, Ulubari, Guwahati.
