Punjab: IPS Rahul S Will Be Vigilance Bureau Chief

Of the 10 police officers transferred and posted in the state vigilance bureau, the Punjab home department has posted 2008-batch IPS officer Rahul S as director of the state vigilance bureau

In a reshuffle in police department, the Punjab government has been been posted 10 police officers in the state vigilance bureau. According to the Punjab home department order, 2008-batch IPS officer Rahul S will be director of the state vigilance bureau at the rank of DIG.

While IPS officer Dayama Harish Kumar Omprakash has been posted as SSP of the vigilance bureau in Bathinda and IPS officer Surendra Lamba as SSP of the economic offences wing (EOW) with the vigilance bureau in Ludhiana.

PPS officer Gurmeet Singh has been posted as SSP of vigilance bureau in Ferozepur, Varinder Singh as SSP of vigilance bureau in Amritsar, Daljit Singh as SSP of vigilance bureau in Mohali, Gurjot Singh Kaler as joint director of internal vigilance cell (IVC) and special unit (SU) of vigilance bureau, Kanwaldeep Singh as joint director of administration vigilance bureau, Simratpal Singh Dhindsa as joint director of crime vigilance bureau, and Manmohan Kumar as AIG (FS) Mohali. tnn
