In a minor reshuffle in the Tamil Nadu Police Department, the MK Stalin government has transferred four IPS officers.
A 1993 batch senior IPS, Abhay Kumar Singh, has been posted as ADGP of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption (DVAC). He was earlier posted as Additional Director General of Police in CBCID.
IPS G Venkataraman, who was posted as ADGP, Headquarters, in Chennai is replacing Mr. Singh in CBCID,
IPS officer B Bala Naga Devi who is the ADGP of Operations in state police has been posted as ADGP Headquarters in the place of G Venkataraman.
While IPS HM Jayaram, ADGP, Armed police has been ordered to hold additional charge of the post of ADGP, Operations.
