Two senior IPS officer has been given new responsibility at the central level. On the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs the Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the new postings of Kuldeep Singh and M.A. Ganapathy.
Mr. Singh will take charge of Central Reserve Police force as the DG. The 1986 batch officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre was presently the special DG for the same. On the other hand Mr. Ganapathy, Uttrakhand cadre officer has been appointed as the DG, National Security Guard. He was currently the DG in Bureau of Civil Aviation Security.
Both the officers are like to be serve on their position respectively till the date of their retirement.
