20 Deputy Commissioners Transferred in Jharkhand; IAS Aditya Ranjan Made DC, Dhanbad

For the first time since the formation of the second consecutive government under the leadership of Mr. Hemant Soren in Jharkhand, a large-scale reshuffle of IAS officers has taken place. Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of 20 districts have been transferred, as per a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language.

Mr. Ajay Nath Jha, serving as the Tribal Welfare Commissioner, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Bokaro. Mr. Aditya Ranjan (2015 batch), Director of Information Technology, has been made Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad, and Mr. Faiz Ak Ahmed (2014 batch), Director of Horticulture, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Ramgarh.

Mr. Ram Niwas Yadav (2015 batch), Director of Higher Education, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Giridih. Ms. R. Ronita (2015 batch), Director of JSAC, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Khunti. Mr. Naman Priyesh Lakra (2015 batch), the outgoing Deputy Commissioner of Giridih, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Deoghar. Ms. Anjali Yadav (2015 batch), Director of Tourism, has been made Deputy Commissioner of Godda.

Mr. Karan Satyarthi (2016 batch), previously Deputy Commissioner of Gumla, is now posted as Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur). Mr. Chandan Kumar, earlier DC of Ramgarh, has been made Deputy Commissioner of West Singhbhum (Chaibasa). Ms. Kanchan Singh, CEO of JSLPS, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Simdega.

Mr. Nitish Kumar Singh (2017 batch) Director of Audit has been made Deputy Commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan. Ms. Prerna Dixit (2017 batch), MD of Ziada, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Gumla.

Mr. Shashi Prakash Singh (2011 batch), Director of Primary Education, has taken charge as Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribagh, while Mr. Kumar Tarachand (2017 batch), Director of Agriculture, is the new Deputy Commissioner of Lohardaga. Ms. Kirtishree G (2017 batch), MD of Jharcraft, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Chatra.

Mr. Abhijit Sinha (2018 batch), Deputy Development Commissioner of Dumka, has been elevated to Deputy Commissioner of Dumka. Mr. Rituraj (2018 batch), Deputy Development Commissioner of Koderma, has been made Deputy Commissioner of Koderma. Ms. Sameera S (2018 batch), Director of the Jharkhand State Child Protection Society, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Palamu.

In addition, Mr. Ravi Anand (2018 batch), Joint Secretary, Personnel, Jamtara, and Mr. Dinesh Yadav (2018 batch), Deputy Development Commissioner, Ranchi, have both been posted as Deputy Commissioners of Garhwa.
