Srinagar: A group of 2024-batch Indian Forest Service officers of the AGMUT cadre met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan on Monday and briefed him on their field experiences in the Union Territory.
The officers were accompanied by Dr M.K. Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forests (Working Plan, Research & Trainings). During the interaction, they shared their observations on environmental and developmental initiatives being implemented across Jammu and Kashmir.
IFS Officers Share Field Experiences
The delegation included Anubhav Jain, Anusha Koli, Aseem, Sana Fayaz and Shubham Kanoujia. Sinha interacted with the officers and extended his best wishes for their careers in public service.

The officers are part of the 2024 AGMUT-batch IFS group posted to Jammu and Kashmir following completion of their on-the-job training. Earlier government postings assigned officers from the batch to different forest divisions and senior forest offices across the Union Territory.

Officers Posted Across J&K Forest Administration
Among the officers who met the LG, earlier postings placed Anubhav Jain in the office of the Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir; Anusha Koli in the Kathua Forest Division; Aseem in the Jammu Forest Division; Sana Fayaz in the Sindh Forest Division; and Shubham Kanoujia in the office of the Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu.
The wider 2024-batch deployment to J&K followed the completion of training and included seven officers in total, with Chandrabhushan and Navdeep Singh also posted to the Union Territory.
