Jammu:In a significant reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) has ordered the transfer and posting of 3 IPS officers and 157 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs). This restructuring is aimed at optimizing law enforcement operations across the region.
According to the order, three IPS officers from the 2021 batch – Kartik Shrotriya, Hariprasad KK, and Mukund Tibrewal – have been directed to report to SP Operations Srinagar for further duties.
While, Key changes include the transfer of several officers (DSPs) to new roles. For instance, Basharat Hussain has been transferred from DSP IRP 11 Battalion to SDPO Achabal, while Nisar Ahmad Khan moves from DSP CID SB Poonch to DSP HQ Kulgam. Notable officers such as Raies Ahmed Mir and Owaise Rashid have also been reassigned to positions within the CID and SOG. Additionally, prominent officers like Abdul Maajid Magray and Vaseem Mehmood have been reassigned to key positions within the Kashmir division.
The reshuffle also included changes for several officers previously handling specialized units such as the SOG, CID, and the EOW, with postings across Jammu, Kashmir, and other districts. New roles were also allocated for officers working in administrative positions like SDPOs and the Traffic Police.
