The Punjab government has recently transferred five IAS officers and one PCS officer, making key administrative changes.

List of IAS Officers Transferred:
- Mr. Alok Shekhar (1994-batch IAS officer)
- Appointed as Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Cooperation.
- Given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Home Affairs, replacing Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh.
- Ms. Jaspreet Talwar (1995-batch IAS officer)
- Appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Planning.
- Given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Mines & Geology, relieving Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh.
- Also takes charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Jails, and Additional Chief Secretary, Justice, replacing Mr. Alok Shekhar.
- Mr. Ajit Balaji Joshi (2003-batch IAS officer)
- Appointed as Administrative Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats.
- Given additional charge as Administrative Secretary, Taxation, relieving Ms. Jaspreet Talwar.
- Mr. Basant Garg (2005-batch IAS officer)
- Appointed as Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare.
- Mr. Dilraj Singh (2005-batch IAS officer)
- Appointed as Administrative Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs.
- Given additional charges as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration, and Commissioner, Gurudwara Elections, Punjab, relieving Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh.
These administrative reshuffles are expected to enhance governance and streamline departmental functions across Punjab.
