Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has announced the transfer and posting orders for five IPS officers on Tuesday. Among the transfers, two officers have been promoted to higher ranks.
The officers and their new postings are as follows:
- Mukesh Kumar (IPS-SPS:2011), who was serving as the Assistant IG, P & M/ SP, SCRB/SSTNS, has been transferred and appointed as the new DIG, PAC.
- Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal (IPS-SPS:2011), previously serving as Assistant IG, Prisons, will now take over as the DIG, Law & Order.
- Rachita Juyal (IPS:2015:UK) has been assigned the role of SP, Vigilance.
- Jitendra Mehra (IPS:2021:UK), who was serving as the Additional SP, Crime/Traffic in Haridwar, has been promoted and posted as SP, Crime/Traffic, Haridwar.
- Niharika Tomar (IPS:2021:UK), the Additional SP, Crime/Traffic in Udham Singh Nagar, has also been promoted and posted as SP, Crime/Traffic, Udham Singh Nagar.
These reshuffles and promotions are part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency and functionality of law enforcement across Uttarakhand.
