New Delhi: In a major administrative move, the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday issued orders for the appointment of six IRS officers and one DANIPS officer as Deputy Directors in the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
These appointments are on a deputation basis for a period of three years or the remaining tenure of their deputation, whichever is earlier.

These appointments reflect the government’s continued focus on strengthening the enforcement mechanism to combat financial crimes and ensure robust economic governance.
The ED plays a critical role in investigating cases related to money laundering, economic offences, and foreign exchange violations under laws like PMLA and FEMA.
