As members of the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories) cadre, the officers may serve across multiple States and Union Territories during their careers, depending on administrative requirements.

Strengthening Policing Across AGMUT Cadre

The latest postings are expected to strengthen policing capacity across the AGMUT cadre, particularly in strategically important regions such as Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, while also augmenting police administration in smaller Union Territories and northeastern states.

The newly posted officers will now report to their respective cadres and begin field assignments under the supervision of senior officers, contributing to law enforcement, public order and internal security across their designated jurisdictions.
