Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav visited Bondari village in Balaghat, which was previously affected by Naxalism, and interacted with villagers to understand their development needs. The visit focused on strengthening basic facilities, employment and local livelihoods.
CM Yadav Discusses Key Rural Issues
During his interaction with residents, the Chief Minister discussed animal husbandry, housing, nutrition awareness, healthcare, education and employment. He directed officials to improve these facilities and ensure that every eligible family receives the benefits of government schemes.

Rs 225 Crore Development Push for Balaghat
CM Yadav announced development works worth Rs 225 crore for Balaghat district through various departments. The projects will focus on roads, electricity, drinking water, education, healthcare, housing, agriculture and allied activities.
The announcement is aimed at improving basic infrastructure while expanding employment and livelihood opportunities for rural communities.
Focus on Livelihood and Employment
The Chief Minister directed officials to prioritise development in villages that were earlier affected by Naxalism. He called for greater use of local resources to promote animal husbandry, agriculture, horticulture, fisheries and forest-based livelihoods.
Special efforts will also be made to connect young people with employment and self-employment opportunities and increase household incomes.
Balaghat Moves Towards Development
CM Yadav said Balaghat is now moving from Naxalism towards development. He stressed that lasting peace must go together with social and economic progress.
The government aims to connect every village and family with development while improving infrastructure, public services and livelihood opportunities across the district.
