Bank of India Q2 FY27 Results: Global Business Rises 21.07% YoY to ₹18.92 Lakh Crore, Advances Up 20.43%

Mumbai: Bank of India (BOI) has reported strong year-on-year growth across its key business parameters for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, with global business, deposits and gross advances recording double-digit growth.

According to the bank’s provisional business figures for the second quarter of FY 2026-27, global business increased 21.07% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹18,91,663 crore. Global deposits rose 21.60% to ₹10,37,618 crore, while global gross advances grew 20.43% to ₹8,54,045 crore.

The bank also recorded strong growth across its domestic operations, particularly in deposits and the Retail, Agriculture and MSME (RAM) segment.

Bank of India Global Business Grows 21.07% YoY

Bank of India’s global business stood at ₹18,91,663 crore as of September 30, 2026, compared with the corresponding period last year, registering a 21.07% YoY increase.

The growth was supported by expansion in both deposits and advances.

Domestic Deposits Rise 23.30% to ₹9 Lakh Crore

Bank of India’s domestic operations also recorded strong growth during the quarter.

Domestic deposits increased 23.30% YoY to ₹9,00,218 crore, growing faster than the bank’s global deposit base.

Meanwhile, domestic gross advances stood at ₹7,03,085 crore, registering a 17.70% YoY increase.

The bank’s RAM advances, covering Retail, Agriculture and MSME lending, continued to show healthy growth.

The growth reflects continued expansion across the retail, agriculture and MSME lending segments.

Bank of India also reported sequential growth across its major business parameters compared with June 30, 2026.

  • Global Business: ₹17,55,699 crore → ₹18,91,663 crore
  • Global Deposits: ₹9,57,924 crore → ₹10,37,618 crore
  • Global Gross Advances: ₹7,97,775 crore → ₹8,54,045 crore
  • Domestic Deposits: ₹8,24,963 crore → ₹9,00,218 crore
  • Domestic Gross Advances: ₹6,73,833 crore → ₹7,03,085 crore
  • RAM Advances: ₹3,92,833 crore → ₹4,12,271 crore

The sequential numbers show an increase across all major business parameters during the quarter.

Domestic Deposits Grow Faster Than Advances

The provisional figures show that domestic deposits grew 23.30% YoY, compared with 17.70% growth in domestic gross advances.

This indicates that the bank’s domestic deposit base expanded at a faster pace than credit deployment during the period.

At the global level, however, both deposits and advances recorded growth of more than 20%, highlighting broad-based expansion in the bank’s overall business.

The provisional Q2 FY27 figures show double-digit growth across the bank’s global and domestic business parameters.

Bank of India has clarified that the business figures released for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, are provisional.

The figures remain subject to review by the bank’s Statutory Central Auditors. The final financial and business numbers may therefore be updated following the completion of the review process.
