New Delhi/Bengaluru: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and GoSuraksha Infotech Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the co-development of a sovereign Secure Digital Identity solution.
The partnership will explore integrating GoSuraksha’s DigiSuraksha application with computing devices manufactured by BEL. The companies plan to subsequently jointly develop and market the integrated solution for government and public sector customers.
BEL and GoSuraksha to Develop Secure Digital Identity Solution
Under the MoU, BEL and GoSuraksha Infotech will explore porting the DigiSuraksha application onto computing devices manufactured by BEL.
The collaboration will then focus on jointly developing and marketing an integrated sovereign identity solution.
The proposed solution is aimed at government and public sector customers and will combine the technological and manufacturing capabilities of both companies.
Key areas of collaboration include:
- Integration of DigiSuraksha with BEL-manufactured computing devices.
- Co-development of an integrated sovereign identity solution.

What is GoSuraksha’s DigiSuraksha Technology?
GoSuraksha Infotech provides trusted identity solutions using its patented technology.
Its solution is designed to create an encrypted QR code containing the user’s face vector. The technology is offered under the brand name “DigiSuraksha.”
The platform provides capabilities related to:
- Digital identity issuance.
- Identity verification.
- Trusted identity solutions.
- Secure storage and use of identity-related information through its technology platform.
Through the MoU, the DigiSuraksha application is proposed to be integrated with BEL’s computing platforms.
BEL and GoSuraksha to Combine Technology and Manufacturing Strengths
The partnership will bring together the complementary capabilities of both companies.
BEL will contribute its design and manufacturing capabilities across mechanical, electronics and software domains, along with its marketing outreach.
GoSuraksha Infotech will contribute its patented identity platform and expertise in DigiSuraksha identity issuance and verification.
The companies will also leverage their respective strengths in business facilitation and technology innovation.

BEL-GoSuraksha MoU Exchange
The MoU was exchanged between Anoop Kumar Rai, Director (Marketing), BEL, and Nikhil Kothary, Director, GoSuraksha Infotech Private Limited.
The exchange was witnessed by Lt. Cdr. (Retd.) Pawan Desai, CEO, Mitkat Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. (MIGS), along with senior BEL officials.
