New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Manoj Jain has been honoured with the ELCINA Special Jury Award – Electronics Man of the Year 2025–26 for his leadership and vision in strengthening BEL’s growth, indigenous research and development (R&D), and technological self-reliance.
The award recognises his contribution towards advancing India’s electronics manufacturing capabilities and supporting the development of indigenous technologies.
Manoj Jain Receives ELCINA Special Jury Award
Manoj Jain was recognised with the Electronics Man of the Year 2025–26 award under the ELCINA Special Jury category.
The award was presented by Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology.
As Manoj Jain could not receive the award in person, Smt. Deepa Bajpai, General Manager (National Marketing), BEL, received the award on his behalf.

BEL has been working towards strengthening India’s domestic electronics manufacturing ecosystem through indigenous procurement and greater collaboration with the MSME sector.
The company’s focus on in-house R&D and domestic technology development is aimed at reducing dependence on imported technologies and supporting India’s broader objectives of technological self-reliance.
The recognition of BEL’s CMD reflects the company’s continued focus on innovation, indigenous capabilities and strengthening the country’s electronics technology base.
