New Delhi: BEML Limited, a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has secured an additional order worth approximately ₹180.60 crore from Integral Coach Factory (ICF) for the manufacturing and supply of Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets.
The company disclosed the order to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
BEML clarified that the order has been received in the normal course of business.

Unlike the existing chair-car versions of Vande Bharat trains, sleeper variants are designed for passengers travelling on longer routes where overnight accommodation is required.
The project is part of the broader effort to modernise Indian Railways and expand the use of domestically manufactured, modern trainsets.
