The awards recognise BEML’s achievements across innovation, organisational excellence, workplace culture, infrastructure development, corporate communications, and leadership. The recognition also comes on the back of a landmark financial year in which the company recorded its highest-ever turnover, research and development investment, order book, and capital expenditure.

Senior Leadership Receives Awards
The awards were received by BEML’s senior leadership team on behalf of the company.
Mr. Anil Jerath, Director (Finance), accepted the Visionary Public Sector Leader of the Year award on behalf of CMD Shantanu Roy and also received the Best Performing PSU of the Year award.

The company successfully delivered India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper trainset, marking a significant milestone in the country’s railway modernisation programme.
It also indigenously developed India’s first all-electric BRS21 Rope Shovel, showcasing its capabilities in advanced mining equipment and sustainable engineering solutions.
These innovations align with the Government of India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision and reinforce BEML’s contribution to strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities.
