Hyderabad: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the promotion of five senior executives to the rank of General Manager as part of its Departmental Promotions 2026.
The company disclosed the appointments through a filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
BDL Promotes Five Senior Executives to General Manager
The promotions cover key functions across BDL, including Design & Engineering, Quality Control, production units and Corporate Human Resources.
The list of executives promoted to the General Manager level is as follows:
- Sreedevi V – Promoted from Additional General Manager, D&E Division, to General Manager.
- T Sreenivasa Rao – Promoted from Additional General Manager, QC Division, to General Manager.
- Anitha GM – Promoted from Additional General Manager, Milan Division, to General Manager.
- K Arun Kumar – Promoted from Additional General Manager, Ibrahimpatnam Unit, to General Manager.
- Tatina Narasimham – Promoted from Additional General Manager, Corporate HR, to General Manager.

BDL Promotion Order Issued on August 21
The promotions were formalised through letter, dated August 21, 2026. The letter was signed by N. Nagaraja, Company Secretary, Bharat Dynamics Limited.
The company has informed both stock exchanges about the changes in its senior management personnel in compliance with applicable SEBI disclosure requirements.
Promotions to Strengthen Leadership Across Key Functions
The elevation of the five executives is part of BDL’s internal career progression exercise. The promotions are aimed at strengthening leadership across critical operational and corporate functions.
The promoted executives will take on General Manager-level responsibilities in areas including:
- Design and Engineering
- Quality Control
- Production and manufacturing operations
- Ibrahimpatnam Unit
- Corporate Human Resources
These leadership positions are significant for supporting BDL’s operational capabilities and continued growth in the defence manufacturing sector.
