The film Durgavati which has been renamed Durgamati-The Myth is a remake of the Telugu film ‘Bhaagamathie‘. This horror revenge drama stars Bhumi Padnekar who plays the role of an innocent IAS officer called Chanchal Chauhan. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Karan Kapadia and will release on Amazon Prime Video on 11 December.
The trailer released on 25 November in which Padnekar is seen playing a bold role of an innocent government officer who falls in conspiracies and secrets of powerful leaders. The trailer has already grabbed 7 million views on Youtube and is one of the most awaited movies among the people.
It is presented by Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar, produced by Vikram Malhotra, and has been directed by G Ashok.
