Bihar: Munger, Sheohar, Jamui and Sasaram Get New DMs

The state government of Bihar has transferred and posted many IAS officers. The General Administration Department of the Government of Bihar has issued a notification to this effect which included half a dozen District Collectors.

Collector of Jamui, Avneesh Kumar Singh, has now been appointed as Collector and District Magistrate of Munger. Avnish Kumar Singh is a 2010-batch IAS officer.

2010 batch IAS officer Pankaj Kumar has been transferred and posted as Collector and District Officer, Sheohar till further orders. He was currently serving as Director, Primary Education, Bihar, Patna.

2010 batch IAS officer Rakesh Kumar has been transferred from the post of Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and appointed as the District Officer and District Magistrate of Jamui till further orders. 

Whereas, 2011 batch IAS Naveen Kumar has been transferred from the post of Munger Collector and District Magistrate and posted as District Officer, Rohtas, Sasaram and he has also been appointed as the District Magistrate there.

2012 batch IAS Shrikant Shastri has been transferred from the post of Kishanganj Collector and District Magistrate and posted as District Magistrate, Aurangabad. He has also been appointed as the District Magistrate there. He will also remain in additional charge of Aurangabad Police Station till further orders.

2015 batch IAS Suharsh Bhagat posted as Aurangabad Collector has been posted as Additional Executive Director, State Health Board, Patna.

At the same time, Tushar Singla, who is an IAS officer of 2015 batch, has been posted as Joint Secretary of Finance Department and appointed as Kishanganj District Collector and District Magistrate. They will also be in additional charge of the Settlement Officer there.
