Job Fairs to Reach Every District
Following the success of the Mega Job Fair, the Bihar government plans to organise employment fairs in every district from next year.
The move is expected to bring employment opportunities closer to young people, increase local job prospects and reduce unnecessary migration in search of work.
Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department Secretary Dr Kaushal Kishore said the initiative supports the state government’s goal of creating one crore jobs and employment opportunities between 2025 and 2030.
The state is also preparing skill development and rehabilitation programmes for persons with disabilities and people who have recovered from mental illness. Similar skill development programmes are also being planned for persons with disabilities and the transgender community.
