UP-Origin Teachers Assured Equal Treatment
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Tiwari specifically addressed teachers who originally belong to Uttar Pradesh but currently teach in Bihar.
He said these teachers are contributing to the education of children in the state and will receive the same treatment as other teachers during transfers.
The minister stressed that their place of origin will not influence transfer decisions.
No Recommendations or Personal Influence
The minister also made it clear that the department will not consider recommendations or personal influence while deciding transfers.
All decisions will be based on the prescribed rules and the information submitted through the official transfer system.
This approach is intended to reduce allegations of favouritism and ensure greater transparency in the process.
Rules to Guide Teacher Transfers
The Bihar Education Department has reiterated that the transfer exercise will be carried out strictly according to the Teacher Transfer Rules.
The use of the official portal is expected to make the process more systematic and provide a common platform for teachers seeking transfers.
Focus on Fairness in Education Administration
The minister’s assurance comes as Bihar prepares to implement the teacher transfer process across government schools.
By keeping the process rule-based and portal-driven, the department aims to ensure equal treatment for teachers while limiting outside influence.
For UP-origin teachers working in Bihar, the assurance provides clarity that their state of origin will not become a factor in transfer decisions.
