Major Reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh, 31 IAS and 35 IPS Officers Transferred

Mr. Ravi Kumar Gupta has been posted as the new Director of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. Earlier he was posted as Additional Director General (ADG), Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

In a major administrative rejig, the Madhya Pradesh state government transferred 31 India Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including 14 District Collectors, and 35 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Saturday. Official orders state that the Collectors of Hoshangabad, Ashok Nagar, Alirajpur, Dhar, Narsinghpur, Shahdol, Sidhi, Mandsaur, Raisen, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Balaghat, and Niwari districts has been transferred. The State Government also changed the superintendent of police of 11 districts.

As per the order, IAS officer Mr. Dhananjay Singh Bhadauria has been posted as Additional Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Earlier he was posted as collector Hoshangabad.

Mr. Babu Singh Jamod has been posted as Additional Secretary to Jail Department of MP Government. Previously posted as Director Panchayat Raj. Whereas Mr. Abhay Kumar Verma has been made Additional Secretary, VKA-cum-Commissioner, Public Education Department.

Mr. Deepak Singh has been given the responsibility as Additional Commissioner of Higher Education, MP Government. While Ms. Surbhi Gupta has been transferred as WCA-cum-Commissioner Handicrafts and Handlooms, Government of MP. Earlier she was posted as Alirajpur District Collector.

Besides this Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Shahdol, Ujjain and Balaghat Zones and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Rewa, Hoshangabad and Jabalpur zones were also transferred.

Mr. Ravi Kumar Gupta has been posted as the new Director of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. Earlier he was posted as Additional Director General (ADG), Economic Offences Wing (EOW).  Mr. Gupta replaced Mr. Pawan Kumar Jain who has been transferred and posted as the Director General (Home Guards).

Mr. DC Sagar, Additional Director General (ADG), Police Training Institute (PTRI), has been transferred and posted as the ADG, Shahdol Zone. Whereas incumbent officer Mr. G Janardhana has been transferred and posted as ADG, PTRI.

Following IPS officers has also been transferred in the State. Mr. Navneet Bhasin has been given the responsibility of Rewa district and posted as SP, Rewa. Earlier he was posted as AIG, Police Headquarters. Whereas Ms. Monika Shukla who was earlier posted as SP of the Raisen District, now has been transferred as SP, Vidisha. While Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh has been posted as SP, Alirajpur. Earlier he was posted as AIG, PUMU, Bhopal, Mr. Pramod Kumar Sinha has been posted as SP, Umaria. Previously he was posted as AIG, PUMU, Bhopal. Mr. Mayank Awasthi has been made SP of Sehore District. Whereas Mr. Gurukaran Singh has been transferred as SP of Hoshangabad District. IPS officer Mr. Vikas Kumar Sehwal will be posted as SP of the Raisen District.
