A 1991-batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, Mr T.K. Ramachandran, has been given additional charge as Chairperson of Visakhapatnam Port Authority.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways for the entrustment of the additional charge of the post of Chairperson (JS level) for Visakhapatnam Port Authority to Mr Ramachandran.
He is presently holding the post of Chairperson, V. O Chidambaranar Port Authority for six months w.e.f. 01 .04.2023 or till the appointment of a new incumbent or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
