Central Bank of India Pays ₹132 Crore Annual Interest on ₹1,500 Crore Basel III Tier II Bonds

The bank completed the Series VI bond interest payment on August 31, 2026, with no delay reported under SEBI LODR disclosure requirements.

New Delhi: Central Bank of India has confirmed the timely payment of ₹132 crore in annual interest to eligible holders of its Basel III Compliant Tier II Bonds – Series VI.

The bank disclosed the payment under Regulation 57(1) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

₹132 Crore Interest Paid on ₹1,500 Crore Bond Issue

The annual interest payment was made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the bonds. The key details are:

Payment Completed as Per Bond Terms

The interest payment was processed as per the applicable terms of the Basel III Compliant Tier II Bonds.

The scheduled due date was August 30, 2026. As the date fell on a Sunday, the actual payment was completed on August 31, 2026.

The record date for determining eligible bondholders was August 17, 2026, with August 15 and 16 being holidays.

Regulatory Disclosure Filed With NSE and BSE

Central Bank of India filed the intimation with the stock exchanges as part of its regulatory compliance requirements.
