Hyderabad: Central Bank of India, Hyderabad Region, organised a Mega Retail Outreach Programme to strengthen retail lending, enhance customer engagement and accelerate business growth in the region.
The programme was attended by A. D. Srinivas, General Manager, Corporate Office, Central Bank of India, and Gajendra Singh Chouhan, Regional Head, Hyderabad, along with customers and bank officials.
Central Bank Highlights Competitive Retail Loan Rates
During the programme, A. D. Srinivas highlighted the bank’s competitive and attractive interest rates across various retail loan products.
The key products highlighted included:
- Grihalakshmi Housing Loans
- Home Loans
- Gold Loans
- Vehicle Loans
He said the bank’s strong Current Account Savings Account (CASA) base and adequate availability of funds enable it to offer competitive interest rates to customers.

Hyderabad Region Achieves ₹172 Crore Retail Loan Sanctions
The Mega Retail Outreach Programme delivered significant business outcomes for Central Bank of India’s Hyderabad Region.
During the campaign period:
- ₹172 crore worth of retail loans were sanctioned, including in-principle sanctions.
- ₹125 crore was disbursed.
- ₹24 crore worth of fresh business leads were generated.
The results reflect the region’s focus on expanding retail lending and strengthening its engagement with existing and prospective customers.
Customers Appreciate Customer-Centric Banking Approach
Customers participating in the programme appreciated the proactive support provided by the bank’s Branch Managers.
They highlighted the customer-centric approach adopted by branch officials in understanding individual requirements and guiding customers towards suitable loan products.
The initiative provided customers with an opportunity to understand available retail lending options and access banking support directly from officials.
