New Delhi: In a key administrative reshuffle, the Central Government has ordered the transfer and posting of seven IAS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre with immediate effect. The decision has been taken following approval from the competent authority.
According to an official order issued on Tuesday, the officers have been reassigned from Delhi to various Union Territories and states under the AGMUT cadre, including Jammu & Kashmir, Puducherry, Mizoram, and Chandigarh.
List of Transferred Officers
The officers transferred under the latest order are:
- Rajeeva Shukla — transferred from Delhi to Puducherry
- Vivek Agarwal — transferred from Delhi to Jammu & Kashmir
- Anoop Thakur — transferred from Delhi to Puducherry
- Saumyaketu Mishra — transferred from Delhi to Mizoram
- Asha Choudhary Malhotra — transferred from Delhi to Jammu & Kashmir
- Vikas Ahlawat — transferred from Delhi to Jammu & Kashmir
- D. Karthikeyan — transferred from Delhi to Chandigarh
Relieving Timeline Specified
The order further directs that all officers must be relieved from their current postings within 15 days from the date of issuance of the transfer directive, ensuring timely implementation of the reshuffle.
Focus on Administrative Rebalancing
Such transfers are part of routine administrative exercises aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of officers across regions under the AGMUT cadre, which includes Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories.
