Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Launches 71 Development Projects Worth Rs 667 Crore in Tatapani

Multi-sectoral initiatives in roads, water, education, and healthcare aim to boost infrastructure, public services, and local economy in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated, laid the foundation, and flagged off 71 development projects in Tatapani, with a total investment of over Rs 667 crore. The projects, spanning multiple sectors, are expected to strengthen local infrastructure and improve the standard of living for residents.

Addressing the gathering, CM Sahu highlighted that Makar Sankranti is not only a festival linked to nature and agriculture but also symbolizes new beginnings and positive change. He emphasized that the state government is committed to implementing inclusive and balanced development across all regions of Chhattisgarh.

Focus on Multi-Sectoral Development

The 71 projects cover key areas including road construction and upgrades, drinking water supply, educational infrastructure, healthcare facilities, and other essential services.

  • Roads: New road construction and upgrades will improve connectivity and ease of transportation in urban and rural areas.
  • Water Supply: Drinking water schemes aim to ensure clean water availability for both rural and urban populations.
  • Education: Development of school buildings, additional classrooms, and improved facilities will provide students with a better learning environment.
  • Healthcare: Strengthening of primary health centers, community health centers, and other medical facilities will make quality healthcare more accessible to citizens.
