Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai attended the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, on Monday, where he inaugurated his visit by exploring the Chhattisgarh Pavilion set up under Bharat Mandapam. The pavilion attracted over 22,000 visitors in a single day, offering a vibrant display of Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage, tribal art, tourism potential, and industrial progress.

Mr. Sai expressed that Chhattisgarh is emerging globally as a state that harmonizes its deep-rooted traditions with modern innovation. “Our identity is not limited to heritage and folk culture. We are also advancing rapidly in industry, technology, and global cooperation,” he noted.

Pavilion Displays Chhattisgarh’s Prosperity and Cultural Heritage

The pavilion highlighted the state’s tribal weaving, handicrafts, bamboo products, herbal items, and Bastar art, alongside exhibits on its industrial capacity and investment potential. International visitors, particularly from Japan, praised the unique blend of culture and industry. The appreciation demonstrated that Chhattisgarh’s image as a state of both heritage and opportunity is resonating with global audiences.

CM Invites Investors for Partnerships

While interacting with dignitaries, Mr. Sai extended an open invitation to investors, emphasizing that Chhattisgarh is fully prepared for global partnerships. He stated that the World Expo serves as a platform to showcase the state’s readiness for industrial investment, tourism promotion, and cultural exchange. “Chhattisgarh has the potential to be a strong center of global cooperation,” he said.

New Prospects in Industry and Tourism

The Chhattisgarh delegation held discussions with international representatives focusing on industrial growth, renewable energy, tourism development, and cross-cultural cooperation. These exchanges aim to create fresh opportunities for the state in the global market.
