Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday highlighted the contribution of workers, artisans and skilled professionals to the state’s development on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti.
Speaking at a Vishwakarma Jayanti programme at his official residence, Sai performed traditional rituals and offered prayers to Bhagwan Vishwakarma, regarded as the deity associated with craftsmanship, construction and creation.
The Chief Minister prayed for the well-being and prosperity of Chhattisgarh and used the occasion to underline the importance of recognising people whose skills and labour contribute to economic activity across the state.
