CM Patnaik direct Senior IAS officers to monitor preparedness for ‘Yaas’

The senior officers include Hemant Kumar Sharma, Saswat Mishra, Vir Vikram Yadav, Vishal Deo and Suresh Vasisth.

The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik has directed Senior IAS officers including the Secretaries of State department to monitor the preparedness, response and relief operations in all the districts that has prone to the upcoming cyclone ‘Yaas’.

The senior officers include Hemant Kumar Sharma. He will be looking after Kendrapara. Similarly, Saswat Mishra has been direct for Jagatsinghpur, Vir Vikram Yadav for Bhadrak, Vishal Deo for Balasore and Suresh Vasisth for Mayurbhanj.

Sea conditions will be very rough during 24 to 26th of May. The fisherman have been advised not to venture into deep areas of Bay of Bengal during 24-25 May and North Bay of Bengal and off Odisha coast from 24 to 27th May.
