Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu deo Sai participated in the grand 251-Kund Gayatri Mahayagya held at Hasaud village in Sakti district, describing the event as a remarkable confluence of spiritual unity, social harmony, and cultural pride. The Chief Minister highlighted that the sacred ritual, conducted simultaneously across 251 fire pits in the holy land of Maa Mahamaya, elevates Chhattisgarh’s spiritual traditions to new heights.
Emphasis on Sanatan Culture and National Heritage
CM Sai praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in giving global recognition to India’s Sanatan culture. He referenced the construction of the magnificent Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya after 500 years and the transformation of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Highlighting Chhattisgarh’s connection to Lord Shri Ram, he mentioned that the state is the maternal home of Mata Kaushalya. He also emphasized the state government’s focus on the welfare of all sections of society through numerous public welfare schemes, mentioning the Ramlalla Darshan Yojana, under which over 38,000 devotees have already visited Ayodhya to seek blessings of Lord Shri Ram.
Spiritual Significance of the Gayatri Mantra
The Chief Minister elaborated on the spiritual significance of the Gayatri Mantra, stating that its 24 syllables represent 24 siddhis and powers, which imbue human life with energy, righteousness, and spiritual strength. During the ceremony, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University, Shantikunj, Haridwar, honored CM Vishnudeo Sai by presenting him with a certificate of appreciation. The event saw the presence of numerous dignitaries, including Minister of Skill Development and Technical Education, Guru Khushwant Saheb, representatives of the All World Gayatri Family, and a large number of devotees from across the country.
Blessings for Newlyweds under Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana
As part of the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, CM Sai extended his blessings and good wishes to 140 newlywed couples who tied the nuptial knot in Hasaud during the Mahayagya. He encouraged them to lead a prosperous and harmonious life, reflecting the ideals of family values and cultural traditions.
Devotional Visit to Jaitkham
During his visit to Hasaud, CM Sai also reached Jaitkham, where he performed traditional rituals and prayers for the well-being, peace, and continuous progress of the people of Chhattisgarh. He invoked the teachings of Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji, emphasizing truth, non-violence, equality, social harmony, and the principle of “Mankhe-Mankhe Ek Samaan” (all humans are equal). CM Sai appealed to the public to imbibe these values and actively contribute to building a developed and harmonious Chhattisgarh.
