Describing it as an innovative initiative by the Uttar Pradesh government, he said the technology will:

  • Ensure accurate land measurement
  • Reduce human errors
  • Minimise land disputes and litigation
  • Speed up resolution of boundary conflicts
  • Modernise revenue records

The RoVer system is expected to replace traditional surveying methods with faster and more precise digital measurements.

Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath said the double-engine government considers the state’s 25 crore residents as one family and continues to implement welfare schemes without discrimination.

He highlighted key government initiatives including:

  • Free ration distribution
  • LPG connections
  • Health insurance cover of up to ₹5 lakh
  • Pension schemes
  • Housing assistance
  • Household toilets

According to the Chief Minister, these programmes are contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Uttar Pradesh.

Saharanpur to Get Airport, Better Connectivity and Medical Infrastructure

The Chief Minister said Saharanpur is witnessing rapid infrastructure development after 2017.

Yogi Adityanath recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi–Saharanpur–Dehradun Economic Corridor on April 14, 2026.

The ₹12,000 crore Greenfield corridor has significantly improved connectivity, reducing travel time between Saharanpur and Delhi to approximately 90 minutes.

He said the corridor would strengthen regional infrastructure while boosting trade, industry, and employment opportunities.

Focus on Heritage, Tourism and Religious Infrastructure

The Chief Minister highlighted ongoing work on the Maa Shakumbhari Corridor, including the construction of an elevated corridor and a facilitation centre to improve year-round access for devotees.

He said these projects reflect the government’s commitment to balancing heritage conservation with modern infrastructure development.

The government is also taking steps to prevent disruptions caused by seasonal flooding in the area.

Support for Saharanpur’s Wood Carving Industry

Yogi Adityanath praised Saharanpur’s globally recognised wood carving industry, stating that artisans have preserved the craft despite difficult circumstances.

He noted that under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, the district now exports wood carving products worth more than ₹600 crore annually, strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s export economy.

Education, Employment and Women Empowerment

The Chief Minister also launched the second phase of the School Chalo Abhiyan, distributing school bags to children enrolled in Basic Education Council schools.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to:

  • Youth employment
  • Women’s safety and self-reliance

  • Significant boost to trade, logistics and industrial development in the Bundelkhand region

CM Yogi Thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Reacting to the Cabinet approval, the Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the project would strengthen the vision of Viksit Uttar Pradesh by improving connectivity, attracting investment and accelerating industrial growth under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.

The twin announcements of ₹613 crore development projects in Saharanpur and the approval of the ₹7,145 crore Kanpur–Kabarai Greenfield Highway underline the Uttar Pradesh government’s continued focus on infrastructure, connectivity, welfare, and economic development. The initiatives are expected to improve public services, generate employment, and strengthen regional growth across the state.
