Ranchi: Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with R.K. HIV AIDS Research & Care Centre, Mumbai, to implement its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative “Aarogya Poshan”, aimed at supporting tuberculosis (TB) patients in Ranchi district, Jharkhand.
The agreement was signed on February 2, 2026, at CMPDI’s headquarters in Ranchi.
Nutritional Support for TB Patients
Under the Aarogya Poshan initiative, CMPDI will provide nutritional support to around 1,550 tuberculosis patients in CMPDI command areas of Ranchi district for a period of six months. The program is designed to strengthen immunity, improve treatment outcomes, and enable faster recovery among TB patients.
Adequate nutrition plays a crucial role in TB treatment, and the initiative aims to complement medical care with targeted dietary support.

MoA Signing Details
The MoA was signed by Dr. Shishir Dutta, General Manager (HRD/CSR), CMPDI, and Ms Yogita Borkar Muralidharan, Project Head, R.K. HIV AIDS Research & Care Centre, in the presence of officials from both organizations.
