CMPDI Partners with ICVL to Prepare DPR for Mozambique’s Tete East Mining Project, Expanding Global Footprint

New Delhi: The Central Mine Planning & Design Institute has signed a major international consultancy agreement with International Coal Ventures Private Limited (ICVL) to provide services for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Tete East Project in Mozambique, Africa.

The agreement was signed on May 8, 2026, marking a significant step in expanding India’s mining consultancy footprint globally.

Strategic Partnership for Overseas Mining Project

Under this collaboration, Central Mine Planning and Design Institute will provide full technical consultancy support to ICVL for the Tete East Project.

Key areas of support include:

  • Project planning and development
  • Technical feasibility studies
  • Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation
  • Sustainable mining and operational planning

The partnership aims to ensure efficient and structured development of the overseas mining project.
