CMPDIL Signs MoA with CIPET Ranchi to Train 80 Jharkhand Youth Under CSR Programme

CMPDIL will invest ₹47.52 lakh to provide four-month residential skill development training to 80 underprivileged youth from five districts of Jharkhand through its partnership with CIPET Ranchi under the FY 2026-27 CSR initiative.

Ranchi: Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Ranchi, to provide residential skill development training to 80 underprivileged youth from Jharkhand under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for the financial year 2026-27.

The initiative aims to improve the employability of unemployed and underemployed youth by equipping them with practical, industry-relevant skills that are in demand across the plastics processing and manufacturing sectors.

CMPDIL and CIPET Sign MoA for Skill Development

The Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Sanjay Kadambar, General Manager (HR/CSR), CMPDIL, and Avneet Kumar Joshi, Director & Head, CIPET Ranchi, in the presence of officials from both organisations.

The partnership reflects CMPDIL’s commitment to promoting sustainable livelihoods through skill development initiatives under its CSR programme.

80 Youth from Five Districts to Receive Residential Training

Under the programme, 80 candidates from the following districts of Jharkhand will receive fully residential training at CIPET Ranchi:

  • Ranchi
  • Ramgarh
  • Hazaribagh
  • Dhanbad
  • Latehar

The training programme has been designed to prepare participants for employment opportunities in the manufacturing sector.

Two Industry-Oriented Courses Offered

The selected candidates will be equally divided into two specialized training programmes:

  • Machine Operator – Plastics Processing (MO-PP)
  • Machine Operator – Tool Room (MO-TR)

Each course will run for four months and include 600 hours of technical and practical training, ensuring participants gain hands-on experience alongside classroom learning.

CMPDIL Allocates ₹47.52 Lakh for the Project

CMPDIL has earmarked ₹47.52 lakh for implementing the CSR initiative during FY 2026-27.

The financial support will cover residential training and help ensure that economically disadvantaged youth receive quality skill development without financial barriers.

Programme Focuses on Employment and Industry-Ready Skills

The initiative goes beyond conventional classroom education by emphasizing practical training and industry-oriented competencies.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are expected to be better prepared for jobs in the plastics processing and manufacturing industries, where skilled manpower continues to be in demand.
