In September 2026, Coal India and its subsidiaries offered 130.19 lakh tonnes of coal through the SWMA e-auction. Of this, 93.64 lakh tonnes were allocated, resulting in an overall allocation rate of 72%.
The average premium over the notified price stood at 94% during the month.

In terms of price realisation, SECL recorded a 48% increase over the notified price, while NECCIL recorded an 88% increase. The overall average increase across the six-month period stood at 54%.
