Today, the Union Defence Secretary Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh (1989-batch Kerala cadre IAS officer) launched the Rashtraparv Website along with its Mobile App to mark ‘Good Governance Day,’ commemorating the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The Rashtraparv platform will serve as a one-stop portal for accessing information related to national events such as Republic Day, the Beating Retreat Ceremony, and Independence Day. It offers features such as live streaming, ticket purchasing, seating arrangements, and route maps for various events.

Speaking at the launch, Officer Singh highlighted that the website and app, developed by the Ministry of Defence, include a system for managing tableau proposals and storing historic event data. A dedicated Tableau Management Portal will also assist states, Union Territories, ministries, and departments in designing and finalizing their tableaus for the Republic Day celebrations.

The development of the website and app was based on extensive consultations with stakeholders. States had recommended a portal for managing tableau designs, while feedback from Republic Day event viewers emphasized the need for detailed information about events, parades, and tableaus. The Rashtraparv platform integrates these suggestions to enhance user experience.

The website is accessible at https://rashtraparv.mod.gov.in, and the Mobile App is available for download from the Government App Store (M-Seva).

This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to transparency, openness, and citizen-centric governance, serving as a tribute to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Good Governance Day.
