Over the past decade, India has increasingly positioned itself as a key voice in global counter-terrorism efforts.

As NSA since 2014, Doval has played a major role in shaping India’s national security strategy and international security partnerships. India has consistently pushed for stronger intelligence sharing, better border security cooperation, and tougher action against terror organizations.

India has also expanded cooperation with several countries through:

  • Intelligence-sharing mechanisms
  • Counter-terrorism dialogues
  • Maritime security partnerships
  • Cybersecurity coordination
  • Regional security forums
