New Delhi: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence has awarded a ₹117.88 crore contract to Hyderabad-based Avantel Limited for the development, installation and commissioning of a Ground Segment Hub for voice and data communication.
Avantel informed the stock exchanges that it received the contract from DRDO on August 29, 2026. The order is focused on the development of a Ground Segment Hub and is scheduled for execution by February 2029.
