Noida: GAIL (India) Limited‘s Vigilance Department, in association with the Finance Directorate, organised a Capacity Building Workshop on e-BG Implementation and Financial Matters at the GAIL Training Institute, Noida, as part of the Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026.
The workshop focused on strengthening awareness and capabilities related to electronic bank guarantees (e-BGs), vendor and customer risk profiling, safety of deposits, digitalisation and financial prudence.

The workshop was jointly conducted by the GAIL Vigilance Department and Finance Directorate to promote wider understanding and adoption of e-BGs across the organisation.
The programme was attended by executives from various cross-functional departments and provided a platform for knowledge-sharing on financial and governance-related matters.

The programme was graced by S. K. Sinha, Director (Finance), GAIL, and Rajnesh Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer, GAIL (India) Limited.
Ms. Nalini Malhotra, Executive Director (F&A) – HoD, highlighted the importance of wider adoption of e-BGs and creating stronger awareness around financial and business risks.
S. K. Gupta, Executive Director (C&P), emphasised the role of digitalisation and robust processes in commercial and procurement activities.

The sessions covered e-BG implementation, vendor and customer risk profiling, safety of deposits and related banking and governance perspectives.
The knowledge-sharing sessions were followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing participants to discuss practical aspects and challenges related to the implementation and adoption of e-BGs.
