New Delhi: Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA) held its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday through a hybrid mode, where members approved the payment of a final dividend of Rs 63.32 lakh to the Ministry of Power.
The final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 569.90 lakh that was paid earlier. With the approval of the final dividend, GRID-INDIA’s total dividend payout for the year has reached Rs 633.22 lakh.
The AGM was conducted from the company’s registered office in New Delhi, which served as the deemed venue for the meeting.
GRID-INDIA Approves Final Dividend
During the AGM, members considered and approved various matters, including the payment of the final dividend to the Ministry of Power.

The approval of the final dividend takes the company’s overall dividend payout for the year to Rs 633.22 lakh.

CMD S.C. Saxena Addresses AGM
S.C. Saxena, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), GRID-INDIA, addressed the members during the AGM and apprised them of the company’s functioning and future plans.
The meeting provided an opportunity to update shareholders and other stakeholders on the company’s operations and its future priorities.

The participation of the Ministry of Power and statutory and secretarial auditors formed part of the company’s AGM proceedings.
AGM Held Through Hybrid Mode
The 17th AGM was organised through a hybrid mode, allowing participation through both physical and virtual arrangements.
GRID-INDIA’s registered office in New Delhi served as the deemed venue for the meeting.
The hybrid format enabled members and stakeholders to participate in the company’s annual shareholder proceedings while maintaining the required corporate governance processes.
