GRID-INDIA Distributes 155 Assistive Devices to Divyangjan in Hoshiarpur, Punjab Under CSR Initiative

Hoshiarpur: In a significant step towards promoting inclusion and accessibility, GRID-INDIA, in collaboration with ALIMCO and district authorities, recently distributed 155 assistive devices to Divyangjan in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. This initiative is part of GRID-INDIA’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at empowering persons with disabilities and fostering an inclusive society.

Comprehensive Support for Mobility and Independence

The distributed devices included a wide range of mobility and support equipment such as tricycles, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, artificial limbs, and other assistive aids. Each device is designed to enhance the recipients’ mobility, independence, and quality of life, enabling them to participate more actively in education, work, and community life.

The initiative reflects GRID-INDIA’s commitment to addressing the practical needs of Divyangjan while promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities.
