1991 batch IPS officer Shamsher Singh of Gujarat cadre, who is currently serving as the Director General of Police, Law and Order, has been transferred and given charge of Anti-Corruption Bureau in the state.
Previously, 1995 batch IPS officer Rajesh Brahmbhatt of Gujarat cadre, who holds the position of Additional Director General of Police in the State Intelligence Bureau, held this responsibility. Following him, 1997 batch IPS officer Anupam Singh Gehlot of Gujarat cadre, who serves as the Additional Director General of Police and Commissioner of Police in Vadodara, assumed the role.
