Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Travel and Trade Fair (TTF) 2026 at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on August 6, with Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and tourism ministers from Goa and Uttarakhand in attendance.

The three-day tourism event is being held from August 6 to 8, 2026, and features participation from more than 900 exhibitors and tourism departments from various states across India.

TTF 2026 to Boost Gujarat’s Tourism Ecosystem

The Travel and Trade Fair has been organised in Gujarat for the past two decades and has emerged as an important business-to-business (B2B) travel trade exhibition.

The fair brings together tourism departments, destination promoters, travel companies and other stakeholders from across the tourism and hospitality industry.

Over the years, the event has helped:

  • Build business partnerships

Gujarat Declares 2026 as Year of Tourism

The TTF 2026 holds particular importance as the Gujarat Government has declared 2026 as the Year of Tourism.

The state is using the year to showcase its diverse tourist destinations, tourism infrastructure and investment opportunities to a wider audience.

The Travel and Trade Fair is expected to provide an important platform for promoting Gujarat’s tourism potential while connecting the state with tourism departments, businesses and industry representatives from across the country.

More Than 900 Exhibitors Participate in TTF 2026

More than 900 exhibitors are participating in the three-day Travel and Trade Fair, along with tourism departments representing different parts of the country.

The exhibition brings together participants from various segments of the travel and tourism industry, creating opportunities for:

  • Business networking
  • Destination promotion
  • Travel partnerships
  • Tourism investment discussions
  • Exchange of tourism-related ideas and initiatives

The participation of tourism departments from different states also provides an opportunity to promote regional destinations and encourage greater cooperation within India’s tourism sector.

Goa and Uttarakhand Tourism Ministers Attend Inauguration

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte and Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, along with Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and other dignitaries.

Following the inauguration, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and other officials toured the exhibition.

They visited stalls representing several states, including:

  • Uttarakhand
  • Jammu & Kashmir
  • Goa

The dignitaries interacted with exhibitors and reviewed information about tourism promotion schemes, destinations, travel offerings and initiatives being implemented by the participating states.

TTF Promotes ‘Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat’

The Gujarat government said the Travel and Trade Fair reflects Prime Minister **Narendra Modi’s vision of promoting tourism across India while strengthening the spirit of “Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat.”

The participation of tourism departments and stakeholders from different states is expected to encourage greater collaboration and exchange between destinations.The platform also provides states with an opportunity to highlight their tourism products and build stronger connections with travel industry professionals.

Three-Day Fair to Support Tourism Business Opportunities

The TTF 2026, being held from August 6 to 8, is expected to serve as a platform for destination promotion, business networking and discussions on tourism development.

With participation from more than 900 exhibitors and tourism departments from across India, the event is aimed at strengthening cooperation within the travel and tourism sector and supporting the growth of tourism opportunities across the country.
