Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is stepping up efforts to attract investment in the telecom and electronics manufacturing sector, with Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav set to meet leading industry players and investors in Bengaluru on September 22.
The key focus of the investor round table will be the Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone, which the state government is positioning as a potential investment hub for telecom equipment manufacturing and related industries.
The meeting will provide investors with details of investment opportunities, industrial policies and the support available from the Madhya Pradesh government.
Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone Takes Centre Stage
The investor round table will be held at Taj Bengaluru, where CM Yadav will interact directly with representatives from the telecom industry.
The state government plans to highlight the potential of the Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone, including opportunities for manufacturing, research, innovation and the development of allied industries.
The interaction is aimed at giving potential investors a clearer understanding of the infrastructure, incentives and policy support available for setting up operations in Madhya Pradesh.

Additional Chief Secretary Neeraj Mandloi and senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications will brief investors on the zone and the policy support available to industries.

He is scheduled to visit Qualcomm’s R&D Centre as well as Signalchip Innovation and Signaltron Systems.
During these visits, the Chief Minister will learn about ongoing work in research, innovation and telecom technology.
The interactions are also intended to help Madhya Pradesh understand Bengaluru’s technology ecosystem and explore possible areas of cooperation with the telecom manufacturing ecosystem being developed in Gwalior.
